UNIVERSAL PICTURES

RESPONSIVE WEBSITE

2015 was a record breaking year for Universal Pictures, however you might not have known that by looking at their website. Because their site needed a fresh new look, Universal Pictures hired PXL Bros to redesign UniversalPictures.com. Our task was to replace their single page website that did not work well on mobile devices with a fully-responsive mobile friendly home for all of their current and upcoming movie titles. Not only did PXL Bros redesign the front-end, but we also created a completely customized back-end platform made specifically for movie studios, aptly named the Movie Service Platform. The result was an immediate success, with mobile user percentages increasing over 200% within a week after the new website launched. We also found an increase in overall daily pageviews, session duration, and pages per session, while drastically reducing the bounce rate by more than 61%.
